Terms & Conditions:
Any item left with us that can be repaired at the standard charge will be repaired providing it is economically viable and parts are available.
We reserve the right to refuse any repair that is due to misuse or tampered with.
All work carried out and parts fitted are guaranteed for a period of THREE months.
Faults and problems found and rectified by the engineer are guaranteed, any other faults that may develop will be estimated .
Any defective repair must be reported to us within ten days of collection.
We can not be held responsible for any loss of use due to a defective repair.
Estimates will be given automatically if the repair costs will exceed the standard price list.
All parts fitted remain the property of STARTEC until paid in full. Faulty parts will be safely disposed during the repair unless the customer requests them returned.
Repair times can vary tremendously due to technical & spares issues and we advise customers to contact periodically for an update. We will do our utmost to meet customer’s requirement.
Whilst we will take the utmost care and attention, it is impossible to dismantle electrical goods to repair them without some risk of minor marking to cabinet and cosmetic parts during the repair process, the owner(s) accept and imply no liability for articles left or collected for repair. We advise that suitable home insurance cover is maintained that extends cover to articles left with us for repair.
The owner(s) hold Employers and Public Liability Insurance. However the owner(s) will not be held responsible for any loss or damage that may arise during the course of a repair particularly if the customer fails to advise the engineer of any circumstances that may lead to any loss or damage.
Any potential loss or damage issues must be raised by the customer before any work is carried out so an agreement can be reached prior to the engineer entering a customers property.
Uncollected repaired items will be disposed of at the owner(s) discretion after a period of THREE months from the completed date to cover the repair charges with or without contact with the customer.
Due to UK and EC laws governing hazardous waste, any item left with us that is deemed un-repairable or parts no longer available will be disposed of after a reasonable attempt has been made by the owner(s) to contact the customer to collect his/her item. If the item is not collected within the time given it will be disposed of and any charges will be met by the customer.
BY ALLOWING US TO SERVICE/REPAIR YOUR PRODUCTS YOU ARE ACCEPTING OUR TERMS & CONDITIONS.
